Treasure Valley Family YMCA

StoryLocker is a new community service based upon a very old and important tradition. Over his many years as a YMCA employee, Treasure Valley Y CEO Jim Everett has collected and cherished the heartfelt stories of members’ memorable connections with the organization. Most of us who know Jim also know that many of these stories have brought tears to his eyes; sometimes tears of sadness, other times tears of joy.

StoryLocker has grown out of a collective recognition that there is tremendous power in storytelling. And also that sharing stories may be diminishing in our lives as we become more mobile and electronic in our ways of communicating.
