Adventure Camp (Ages 12-14)

safety zipline

A rustic wilderness experience filled with everything from basic camping skills to high energy outdoor activities! Adventure campers get back to nature, camping in two person tents and preparing meals as a group. Teamwork, cooperation, responsibility and peer support are just a few of the practical life skills campers will learn at Adventure Camp.  Campers spend 2 to 3 hours each day trying out adventure activities such as rock climbing, mountain biking, fishing, and canoeing.

While Adventure Campers remain connected to the main camp by participating in camp fires, they spend the majority of their time on the following wilderness-based activities:

  • Campsite set up
  • Camp cooking
  • Fire Building
  • Wilderness Navigation
  • “Leave No Trace Skills”
