South Meridian Family YMCA at The Hill
Near the South Eagle/Amity Road Intersection
This pioneering project brings recreation, education, wellness and literacy to one campus. The Hill is an innovative collaboration of the Treasure Valley Family YMCA, the West Ada School District, St. Luke’s Health Services, the City of Meridian Parks and Recreation Department and the Meridian Library District. The first phase, Hillsdale Elementary School, is one of West Ada’s newest. More than 550 students now attend and eagerly await a 60,000 square foot YMCA that will share gymnasium, child development and health care services space. The second phase at The Hill, a 10-acre city park, is scheduled to open in Spring 2017. Pre-construction site work began for the Y in late October. We expect to open our doors to everyone in early 2018.
We are excited to bring our mission of youth development, healthy living and social responsibility to this rapidly growing part of the Treasure Valley. Just like at all of our branches, we offer financial assistance so that our facility is open to everyone. To keep that promise, we rely on the support of donors. If you’d like to join us in our effort to strengthen our community with the Y values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility, consider making a donation today.
Want to get involved?
We need volunteers right now as we build our newest Treasure Valley Family YMCA branch. Volunteer leadership and support are the keys to success at our other branches. We want the same for South Meridian!
