Support the Y through the Social Good Network
We are excited to announce that we have partnered with Social Good Network, an online community that makes charitable giving simple, social and sustainable. By partnering with nonprofits and major retailers, they have created an online community that lets the consumer earn donations for great causes, simply by shopping from the website, email links and mobile site. This doesn't cost any more than buying directly from the retailer, but eligible purchases earn money that can be directed to your favorite nonprofits, like the Y. Best of all it’s free and easy.
How do you get involved and continue your support of the Y?
Join – Sign-up for an individual account through the website (it's free).
Shop - Make a difference by shopping from the Social Good Network website. Every eligible purchase earns $ you can direct to your favorite causes. It costs the same, so do some good.
Start shopping through the Y's page on socialgoodnetwork.com for the donations to come back to our Treasure Valley Family YMCA by clicking on the “shop for good” button.
Share – Spread the word to your friends; use all your social resources – email, twitter, facebook, daily conversations or whatever you’d like to help get the message out about this great program.
Here are a couple of great ways that you can shop online and support the Y:
- Do you or your employer use Expedia for all your travel needs? Shop online at Expedia through the Social Good Network portal and then book your vacation or business travel. You just supported the Y.
- Making a purchase from Barnes & Noble or Amazon? Swing by Social Good Network first before making your purchase and guess what, you just supported the Y.
- Don’t feel like navigating the crowds on Black Friday? Find an online retailer that has the same products you are looking to purchase and buy them online. Not only are you reducing your carbon footprint and reducing the madness of the shopping holiday but you also just supported the Y.
