The Boise Y Swim Team is a year round competitive swimming program with over 200 swimmers, ages 6 and above. Swimmers must be Y members and must join USA Swimming in order to practice and compete with the team. Prospective members may join the team at any time during the year and may try out the team for two weeks without charge. Practices are held at both the Downtown and West Y’s.
The program provides opportunities for swimmers from the novice level to Olympic Trial qualifiers. The team is in the business of building positive self-esteem, good sportsmanship, self-discipline and team unity, along with proper stroke technique and aerobic training. We offer seven different levels.
