10/18/2013 Fall Sprint Triathlon
Date: October 18 & 19, 2013
Once the event is complete:
The Fall Sprint is a great triathlon for all ages and is great for beginners. We offer both a short and long course option for all ages and ability levels. The swimming portion takes place in a YMCA pool on Friday, October 18th, and the bike and run take place on Saturday, October 19th at Eagle Middle School so you can get a good night's sleep between events.
Swim times at the West Y have changed!
Noon Swim: 12:00p.m. - 1:00p.m.
Evening Swim: 7:00p.m. - 9:00p.m.

Long Course: 750 yard swim - 12.5 mile bike - 3.1 mile run
Long Course participants will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday

Indoor water swim will be Friday, October 18, 2013.
Participants may choose from the following locations.
Downtown Family YMCA: 1050 West State Street in Downtown Boise
(AM only): 5:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
• West Family YMCA: 5959 Discovery Way in West Boise
(Noon): 12:00p.m. – 1:00p.m.
(Evening): 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
• Caldwell Family YMCA: 3720 S Indiana in Caldwell
(PM only): 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Late sign-ups (after the registration deadline) will be added at the end of the schedule.
All Wheelchair Athletes will start 5 minutes before regularly scheduled start times.
The bike and run portion of the race will start at Eagle Middle School (1000 W Floating Feather Rd Eagle, ID 83616 ) and will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013.
Long Course Bike: 12.5 miles

Are you a great runner, but hate swimming? Get some friends together and form a relay team for the Spring Sprint Triathlon! All it takes is two or three people; a swimmer, biker and runner to sign up as a relay team. Have your team captain register all participants to get the relay team rate.

Get a group together from your office, school, church, family, or just a group of friends! Forming a team is a great way to take a step toward healthy living, and helps to build a network of people to encourage you in your fitness goals. Teams need to consist of 10 or more people. All team members will race under the same team name, but may race separately. Team participants can register online. Just ask all team members to enter your team name and team captain's name online to get the team rate.

Packet Pick-Up: Packets will be available throughout the swim portion of the race at each location on Friday, October 18th.
Downtown Family YMCA (pool): 5:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. OR 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
West Family YMCA (pool): 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Caldwell Family YMCA (pool): 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
To ensure a smooth run event and a good time for everyone, we ask that you read and adhere to the following race instructions.
Important Swim Information:
- Swimmers must start in the water, diving is prohibited when starting the race. Please check in at the packet pick up table to get your swim card before you go to your lane.
- It is very important that you adhere to these times. If you miss your time you will be worked in at the end of the swim.
- Swimmers may warm-up in the additional lanes next to the event area, which are normally scheduled for adult lap swimming. Please be warmed-up, ready to swim, and on the pool deck at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled swim time. Please check in with your lane timer when you are ready to swim.
- If we are running ahead of schedule we will be calling swimmers to swim early in the order of their scheduled swim.
Race Refund Policy:
Cancelations made 8 or more days prior to the race will receive a full refund. Cancelations made within 7 or less days prior to the race will receive a 50% refund minus a $5.00 processing fee. There are no race day refunds and no refunds after the race.
Registrations received after the early registration deadline date will receive a t-shirt the day of the race only if available. Late registrants will receive a shirt 7-10 days after the race. Shirts will be available at the Corporate Office (1177 W State St., across from the Downtown Y) for you to pick up. Participants living outside the Treasure Valley will have their shirt mailed.

Not racing but love to be part of the action? The YMCA would not be able to host this event without the help of great volunteers like you! Help is needed both on and off the course.
