Short Course Starts at 8:30am
Long Course Starts at 8:45am
Open water swim inside the Spring Shores Marina near the east boat ramp. Wet suits are optional. Certified Lifeguards as well as trained kayakers will be monitoring the swim course.
Road race course will start immediately following the swim and proceed on Highway 21 towards Boise. After pedaling up and over the hilltop, the remainder of the course will consist of scenic suburban streets and conclude in the Albertsons Headquarters parking lot on Parkcenter Blvd. All major intersections will be monitored by volunteer road marshals and motor escort service.
Mainly flat run course will start immediately following the bike course. The beautiful Boise River Greenbelt will constitute most of the run course. The race will finish in the Albertson’s Headquarters parking lot.
Swim-to-bike transition will be near the Spring Shores east boat ramp area. Bike-to-run transition will be near the race finish. Splits will be taken at both transition areas.
*If you will be using different shoes for the bike and run, you will need to drop off your running equipment at the bike to run transition area before driving to the start.
*Place all of your swim and warm up gear in a bag clearly labeled with your race number on it to be transported to the finish line area or have a friend or family member pick up your gear. They must have a transition pass to be let into the transition area. We will be monitoring the area and checking for passes. No pass no gear. Transition passes will be issued at packet pick up.

Are you a great runner, but hate swimming? Get some friends together and form a relay team for the Spudman Triathlon! All it takes is two or three people; a swimmer, biker and runner to sign up as a relay team. Have your team captain register all participants to get the relay team rate.

Get a group together from your office, school, church, family, or just a group of friends! Forming a team is a great way to take a step toward healthy living, and helps to build a network of people to encourage you in your fitness goals. Teams need to consist of 10 or more people. All team members will race under the same team name, but may race separately. Team participants can register online. Just ask all team members to enter your team name and team captain's name online to get the team rate.
Packet Pick-Up: Friday July 12, 2013
Location: Albertsons Headquarters parking lot, 250 Parkcenter Blvd.
Packets will also be available one hour prior to the race start at Spring Shores starting line area.

Race Refund Policy:
Cancelations made 8 or more days prior to the race will receive a full refund. Cancelations made within 7 or less days prior to the race will receive a 50% refund minus a $5.00 processing fee. There are no race day refunds and no refunds after the race.
Registrations received after the early registration deadline date will receive a t-shirt the day of the race only if available. Late registrants will receive a shirt 7-10 days after the race. Shirts will be available at the Corporate Office (1177 W State St., across from the Downtown Y) for you to pick up. Participants living outside the Treasure Valley will have their shirt mailed.

Not racing but love to be part of the action? The YMCA would not be able to host this event without the help of great volunteers like you! Help is needed both on and off the course.
