Once a camp is full, a waiting list will be established. When a spot becomes available the first eligible camper on the wait list will be called. Campers are called on a first-come, first-served basis.

Summer Camp Cancellation PolicyHorsethief Camp

All cancellations must be made in writing by completing the YCamp form. Summer Resident Camp Cancellation Forms are available at any YMCA. Click here to print a form. Refunds will be reviewed and processed within 30 days using the followign guidelines:

Notice of 14 days or more: Total camp fee or amount paid to date minus $50 non-refundable/non-transferable deposit will be refunded.

Notice of 13 days or less:  No refund will be given during this time period which is after full balance payment is due.  If you have an extreme circumstance please contact us to discuss options. If written notice is received on or after the start date or no written notice given at all there will be no refund given.

Summer Camp Payments and Financial Assistance

Financial Assistance

Camp does not offer scholarships, however financial assistance is available for all YMCA programs. Full facility members, who receive assistance towards their membership, qualify for the same percentage of assistance towards programs, including camp.

We are proud to say no child will be turned away for the inability to pay. However, camp space is limited, so we operate on a first come first served basis. Please fill out the financial assistance form and return to the camp registrar or email ycamp@ymcatvidaho.org for more information.

Camp Balance Payments

All summer camp programs require only a $50 deposit to register. Balances must be paid in full at least 2 weeks prior to check-in day for your session unless prior arrangements have been made. If payment is not received, your registration may be cancelled and your payments forfeited.

Payment Plans

The YMCA is dedicated to making life easier for all our participants.  The YMCA offers payment plans with automatic monthly drafts or a one-time draft on your balance due date to simplify the payment process. Please contact us to set up a payment plan to fit your budget.
