October 7, 2015

Jim Everett’s legacy is far-reaching and deserving of celebration!  The Y would love to have you be a part of it. We’ve got plenty planned, and there is an opportunity for everyone to celebrate Jim, either in person at one of our events or virtually through an online gift or message.

Please join us on Saturday, November 14, 2015, from 5:30-9:00pm at the Boise Centre. Come prepared to dine with friends, laugh, cry, and take a spin on the dance floor.  We look forward to celebrating Jim and the Treasure Valley Family YMCA.

Online registration is now closed.  There is limited space available. If you are interested in purchasing tickets, please contact Leslee Hoover at 208 344 5502 ext 285 or email RSVP@ymcatvidaho.org.

Parking is available in City Centre Garage (Corner of 9th & Front), and Eastman Garage (Main & Idaho Streets).

Unable to attend the event on November 14th? Join us for on of the stops on Jim’s “Farewell Tour” and help us celebrate Jim’s impact and his passion that has spanned over 28 years. These events are free and open to all, including Y staff, volunteers, members, and supporters.

This fund helps ensure that everyone has the opportunity to access Y services, regardless of their financial situation. Programs such as Make A Splash, Y Camp, and many others will benefit from this Fund. The long-term goal is to create opportunities for our young leaders to be prepared for school, live healthier lifestyles, and participate in youth activities, which in turn will create a brighter future for our community and state.

Select the “In Honor of Jim Everett (Access for All) Endowment” option.

In addition to sending cards and phone messages, an email account has been set up for the sole purpose of capturing your stories, memories, and well-wishes for Jim. Send us your thoughts at JustforJim@ymcatvidaho.org ».
