During these challenging times when routines seem to change daily, one thing remains the same: the Y provides a safe, enriching place for children to learn and grow, whether through out-of-school-time offerings that complement school days or through essential child care for working parents.

Before & After School Programs
YMCA School-Age Child Care offers part-time (before and after school) and full-time (no school days, holiday breaks, and summer) child care for children from grades K7. School-Age programs provide children with a wide variety of activities that help them:

  • Make new friends
  • Do better in school
  • Enjoy more physical activity
  • Develop new skills
  • Live with caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility

Children in our programs benefit from a safe and nurturing environment that incorporates character values, provides positive adult role models, and develops necessary skills.

Incorporating the latest research in Youth Development, YMCA School-Age Child Care provides academic enrichment activities to foster each child’s cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development. Every day children engage through a “hands-on, minds-on” approach, allowing children to be physically active and cognitively challenged.
