April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. As part of our commitment to protecting the children in our community, we’re participating in the Five Days of Action – a week-long campaign to increase awareness of child sexual abuse and empower and equip us all to prevent it. By taking part in this important campaign and through implementing abuse prevention practices year-round, the Treasure Valley Family YMCA is committing to the safety of all children in our community.
Spread the word on Child Abuse Prevention Month by participating in for Wear Blue Day on April 7, 2023. This is a time for our community to come together, to build caring connections, supportive environments, and positive experiences for children and families.
Wear your best blue outfit and let’s work together to raise awareness for Child Abuse Prevention Month.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children will be hosting a live webinar to share available resources and online safety information.
