- Teams are formed by the Y and will initially be started 5 weeks before the beginning of the program. The following criteria will be used to form teams until teams are full at 14 players (after a team is full, players will placed on the next closest team):
- Coach/Teammate Request
- Date of Registration
- School
- Or combination of nearby schools

- Practice Information
- With the soccer program being held outdoors, practices take place at local parks and school fields. The volunteer coach of your player’s team will choose what day, time and location for practices and will communicate that information to the team before the beginning of practices. In divisions that are smaller, teams may be made from multiple schools, so practices may be a little further from where you are located.
- U10 and U12 teams practice once a week for an hour, but are able to practice an additional day for an hour if they choose to

- Equipment
- Players will be responsible for bringing a soccer ball to practice.
- For U10 and U12 divisions players will use a size 4 ball.
- Players will wear athletic clothing that they can easily move around and be active in.
- Shin guards are required.
- Cleats are highly recommended, but are not required. Any athletic shoe type should would be appropriate.
