Learn about a variety of sounds and musical instruments in this 50-minute class led by a Board Certified Music Therapist! Participants will focus on individual and group goals, such as social and emotional skills. The Y accepts Family Directed Services Funding.
About the instructor:
Samantha became a board-certified music therapist and a certified Habilitative Intervention Professional after completing her Bachelor of Science degree at Utah State University and her internship at Helping Hands Center for Special Needs. In 2018 she became a neurologic music therapist. In 2020 she completed her training to become a Positive Discipline Parent Educator and completed her Master of Music with a specialization in Music Therapy degree. Samantha’s mission is to help parents, children, and adults develop deeper relationships through the use of musical interventions and positive discipline strategies.
