Ballet and Creative Movement

4-week sessions occur monthly

Caldwell YMCA (Ages 3–5): Wed, 4:30–5pm
South Meridian YMCA (Ages 7–10): Fri, 5:40–6:25pm

This program introduces boys and girls to the art of dance with a focus on basic ballet elements and techniques. For the youngest children, the goal is to tap into the child’s creative nature and to make them aware of their abilities through the physical expression of their imagination. The older students will build on this idea, improving technique, and foundational principles.

Beginners Yoga

This is a slower paced class designed for students who have little or no experience in yoga. This is an ideal class for students who have physical restrictions.

Core Focus Together (Group Core)

This athletic class is an action-packed 30 minutes of fun! Expert coaching and motivating music will guide participants through exercises utilizing body weight, weight plates, a towel, and a platform.

Everyone finishes first in Group Ride. Pedal in groups, roll over hills, chase the pack, climb mountains, and spin your way to burning calories and strengthening your lower body in the indoor cycling class.

These classes, held in the deep portion of the pool, are a great way to get a fun cardio and abdominal workout without impact. Class is designed for intermediate to advanced level participants.
