Babysitting Training Course

This one-day course includes ASHI-Approved Certification card and can help young adults interview for suitable babysitting positions. Participants will learn how to choose safe and age-appropriate toys and games, prevent injuries and be prepared if an emergency happens, handle bedtime issues, and more!

Kid Fit

Youth Fit Bootcamp

$30 $39 10–15 January 11, 2021 - January 27, 2021

Downtown Boise Y: Mon, Wed, 4:15–5:15pm

Designed specifically for youth ages 10–15, this program features constantly varied activities that focus on balance, agility, coordination, speed, strength, stamina, endurance, flexibility, athleticism, and core strength. Youth Fit Bootcamp meets two times a week for three weeks.

Youth Strength Training

$33 for 1 child | $10 for each additional child in same household (Max 4) Membership Required 10–14

Participants learn how to safely use the fitness equipment and provide basic knowledge to start their own personal fitness program. Participants will learn etiquette on the floor, benefits, and risks. After completing this course, kids will be able to pick up a badge each time they come into the facility and use the cardio and strength training circuit machines without an adult present.
