Make Reservations at Your Y

In order to maintain capacity and to better serve our members, the Treasure Valley Family YMCA uses a reservation system. Reservations are required for group exercise classes, racquetball courts, water exercise classes, open swim, and Kid Zone. Learn more here, or click the Create an Account button below to sign-up.

GUEST ID POLICY

As part of our commitment to protecting children, all non-member guests age 18 and older must provide a driver’s license or other government-issued photo ID each time they enter a Treasure Valley Family YMCA facility. Our facilities are protected by an instant screening program that runs each guest through a national sex offender database.

Registered sex offenders are not allowed on YMCA property or at YMCA programs.

Valid forms of ID include:

  • Driver’s license
  • State ID card
  • Passport
  • Military ID
  • Permanent resident card
  • Employment authorization card

Or a combination of:

  • School-issued photo ID AND a birth certificate

Account

Click the “Create an account!” button, fill out the required fields, and click next to complete your account set up. For more information about creating an account, watch the “Creating a new account” video here or by following a step-by-step guide here.

If you are already a member of the YMCA we went ahead and created an account for you using the email address we have on file. Simply go to our registration site and click the “Need new password?” link and enter your email address. We will send you an email with instructions on creating a new password. Return to the registration site and enter your user name and the new password you just created.

A member’s username is the email account we have on file. We encourage each adult to create their own account. If they put in their email address and they are prompted to create a new account it means we do not have that email on file.  

After putting in your email address, skip the password, and click on “need new password” You will be prompted to reenter your email address and click “next.” We will send you an email with instructions to reset your password. 

After logging into your account, click on “my info.” Here you can edit and save your personal information as well as click on “add family member.” Click save when you are finished. After adding a family member to your account, contact the front desk of your facility so any family memberships can get applied to the rest of your family members. That way they can sign up for classes, too!

If you have used the Mindbody App in the past (even for a different business) try to login using to the Treasure Valley Family YMCA mobile app with those credentials first. Upon logging in, please verify that your membership is activated by either selecting Profile from the lower mobile app menu and clicking Passes to view membership activation OR select More from the lower mobile app menu to verify that your barcode is the same as the one you have been using with your Daxko app. If the email address used to login is different than the one that you received this email from, please reach out to the Front Desk to update your YMCA account.
  1. First, you will need to sign in to your account by visiting the Treasure Valley YMCA Online Reservation platform login page here.
  2. Then, select the ‘My Info’ tab to open up your ‘Profile’ and view your ‘Personal’ settings column.   
  3. Select ‘Edit’, then click the check-boxes for the types of notifications you would like to receive and the methods by which you would like to receive them.

Reservations

Reservations will open every day at 7 am and close at 11 pm. While the window is open,  you will be able to register for 3 days in advance. That means that at 7 am every day you will be able to make a reservation for everything today, tomorrow, and the next day.

If you find you cannot attend at your reserved time, please cancel the reservation so that others can reserve that spot. Thank you!

Classes and facility features can also be reserved using our new Treasure Valley Family YMCA app. Download the FREE app from the App Store or Google Play Store here. If you don’t have a smartphone you are able to reserve a spot by signing into the web platform (via the Sign In button above) or by speaking to the front desk staff at your facility.

For group exercise classes you will check-in with the instructor at the beginning of class. For all aquatics reservations you will check-in at the lifeguard desk on the pool deck.

Non-members and guests will first need to check-in at the front desk. Non-members and guests 18 years and older must provide a driver’s license or other government-issued photo ID.

You can check-in to your class or swim reservation up to 30-minutes before your reservation.

If you are unable to make your reservation, please cancel 2 hours in advance to give members on the waitlist the opportunity to be added to the class list.

 If you cancel within two hours of your reservation, this is considered a late cancellation and you will be reminded to try and cancel as soon as possible next time to allow members on the wait-list to have sufficient notice so that they may attend. 

Failure to cancel a reservation will result in a “no-show” status. Recurrent “no show” statuses may incur a temporary hold on a member’s ability to make reservations.

Yes, please make a reservation. It is important to register for classes ahead of time to guarantee there is room for you in a class. It is also important to check-in to the class so we know if there is extra room for anyone on the waitlist. If you aren’t able to attend a reservation you’ve made, we ask that you cancel your reservation at least 2 hours in advance to allow someone on the waitlist time to prepare for the class.

Yes. We encourage all guests to create their own accounts. They are free and you do not need to be a member to create an account.

If you want to reserve a spot for a guest, log into your account then navigate to the reservation you would like to make. Click “Sign up Now” and you will be prompted to make a reservation for yourself or for a guest. Choose “guest” and enter in the name of your guest, then click “register as unpaid.” This will reserve the spot for your guest. All guests must check-in at the front desk and either pay for a facility day pass or use one of your 6 free day passes provided with your membership.

Non-members and guests 18 years and older must provide a driver’s license or other government-issued photo ID.

To reserve a spot for a family member that is included in your YMCA membership, log into your account then navigate to the reservation you would like to make. Click “Sign up Now” and the family members listed on your membership will be listed below the registration for yourself. If you would like to sign up your whole family, each person will have to be registered individually. At this point, you are able to register family members for classes, but you are unable to cancel a registration for family members from the platform.

Yes. You can create an account and make class reservations if you are a non-member or a guest. You will be required to check-in at the front desk and pay for a day pass.

Virtual Offerings

To find and register for a Virtual Live Stream class, select your preferred branch. (Each branch will have different virtual offerings available). Select Group Exercise, The Virtual classes are located among all the group exercise classes. In the class name your will notice “VIRTUAL” next to the class name. Reservations are required in all virtual classes. Once you are registered, you will receive a link to join a class in your email 30 minutes prior to class. Join the class through the link in your email.

To access the On-Demand Video Library from your desktop, sign in to your account by clicking the ‘Sign In’ button at the top of this page and select the ‘Video Library’ tab from the upper service type menu. If it is not immediately visible due to your web browser window size, you may have to click the tab expansion arrow tools on the right-hand side to navigate.

To access the On-Demand Video Library from your mobile device, sign in to the Treasure Valley Family YMCA app and select the ‘Video‘ button from the lower menu bar! 

Cancellations

Yes. You can cancel a reservation by logging into your account on our website or through the app.

Online Reservation Platform Policies

Reservation Time Window:

Reservations will open every day at 7 am and close at 11 pm. While the window is open you will be able to register for 2 days in advance. That means that at 7 am every day, you will be able to make a reservation for everything offered today, tomorrow, and the next day.

Cancellations are required if you find that you are unable to make it to your reservation. We ask that you cancel your reservations a minimum of two (2) or more hours before the start of the class or appointment.
