Event Postponed to July 10 & July 11
The Spring Sprint Triathlon is a great triathlon for beginners or seasoned triathletes. Whether you are an adult or a youth you can select the distance that works for you and your training. Come join the fun and give the Spring Sprint a try! Swim on Friday, May 1st at a Treasure Valley Family YMCA facility and bike and run on Saturday, July 11
Packet Pick-Up: Packets will be available throughout the swim portion of the race at each location on Friday, July 10
**You must have photo ID to enter a YMCA facility if you are not a member. Please bring your photo ID to the swim.
Downtown AM – 5:15am – 9am
Downtown Evening – 5:30-9pm
West Y Noon – 11:30-1pm
West Y Evening – 6-9pm
Caldwell Y Evening – 7-8:30pm
* Remember when you register you tell us where you want to swim and your estimated swim time. With that information we assign you a time slot at the location you selected. Times will be posted on July 8 by noon.*

Their team has developed beginner focused training plans that are free to anyone who signs up for a YMCA Sprint Tri Race this season (that include Spring Sprint, Y Not Tri and Steve Andrews Fall Sprint) . They are also offering resources such as Seminars and Clinics that are free to the community. So grab a buddy, get registered today and mark your calendar for your new training plan! Are you a great runner, but hate swimming? Get some friends together and form a relay team for the Spring Sprint Triathlon! All it takes is two or three people (one person can do two legs); a swimmer, biker and runner to sign up as a relay team. Have your team captain register all participants to get the relay team rate.

Downtown Boise YMCA (pool): 5:15am-9am OR 5:30pm-9pm
West Boise YMCA (pool): 11:30pm-1pm
West Boise YMCA (pool): 6:00pm-9pm
Caldwell YMCA (pool): 7pm-8:30pm
Long Course participants will swim 750 yards (15 laps).
Short Course participants will swim 200 yards (4 laps).

Participants will be seeded in order of estimated swim time at each location. Estimated swim time and lane assignments will be available the day before the race on this website and at the front desk of all YMCA branches. Swimmers will be seeded fastest to slowest unless you request a specific time.
Late sign-ups (after the registration deadline) will be added at the end of the schedule.
The bike and run portion of the race will be on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Camel’s Back Park. Short Course participants will begin at 9:15am. Long Course participants will begin at 10am.
Participants will start in order of their actual swim finish time for the road race portion.
Mainly flat run course will start immediately following the bike course.

Race Refund Policy:
Cancellations made less than 15 days prior to the race/event will receive no refund. Cancellations made more than 15 days prior will receive a 50% refund either as a check or a system credit. The system credit may only be applied to another YMCA race/event within the current calendar year. Entries, once purchased, may not be transferred, resold, exchanged, or given to another person. We hope very much that you are able to join us on race day. We value your participation and want to provide you with a memorable and quality race day.
