South Meridian YMCA Aquatic CenterAn aquatic center is a place where community is built, nurtured, and embraced. The Treasure Valley Family YMCA will break ground on the South Meridian YMCA Aquatic Center, a full-sized community recreation facility and competitive swimming venue at the South Meridian YMCA. A groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled to take place on Thursday, August 15, at 10am at the construction site, behind the South Meridian YMCA. The public is invited and welcome to celebrate the beginning of construction with YMCA members, donors, and staff. Through the generosity of Treasure Valley individuals, families, companies, and foundations the Treasure Valley Family YMCA has raised approximately $13 million of the $15 million needed. Annual CampaignThe Y’s Annual Campaign is an annual fundraising campaign that supports the Y’s Financial Assistance program that ensures all youth, adults, and families can participate in Y membership and programs, regardless of their ability to pay. The Campaign is primarily run by community volunteers.

Join the Heritage ClubThe Heritage Club is a special group of people who believe in the mission of the Treasure Valley Family YMCA and want to ensure that valuable, life-changing programs and services will be continued for future generations. Each member of the club has included the YMCA in his or her estate plan, or has given a gift. The gifts will build long-range financial stability, enabling the Association to meet its mission. The fund has exceeded the $2 million mark and distributes over $65,000 annually to support a variety of Y programs. The principal remains untouched so as to generate future earnings. Heritage Club members express their support of the Y through any one of these giving options:
- A Bequest in One’s Will
- Naming the Y in a Life Insurance Policy or Annuity
- A Charitable Remainder Trust
- Memorial / Honorary Gifts
- Endowment Fund
