We need your help, now more than ever.

With forced facility closures, program suspensions, and fee reductions, the Y’s ability to provide vital services for the most vulnerable members of our community is at risk now and in the future.

In response, we have launched the 2020 COVID-19 Sustaining and Annual Fundraising Campaign to raise $1.265 million in the next three months to address our immediate crisis and prepare us to meet future needs in the community. This amount will allow us to sustain current programs and services, and to reopen with staff and programs to meet what will undoubtedly be an even more tremendous need as children and families recover from this significant disruption in their lives.

“Like many other non-profits, the current national emergency has affected the Y’s ability to sustain our operations. Now more than ever, our YMCA needs you,” said Treasure Valley Family YMCA President and CEO, David Duro. “In difficult times, the Y responds, using our resources creatively to offer solutions. We are providing critical care for children of healthcare workers, reaching out to our active older adults who may be experiencing isolation at this time, and offering virtual resources to help you and your family thrive while sheltering at home.”

We have been forced to make some tough decisions regarding staffing and other expenses, and are doing everything in our power to be in a position to be here for you in the future. We cannot do it alone—we need your help!

South Meridian YMCA Aquatic Center

An aquatic center is a place where community is built, nurtured, and embraced.
The Treasure Valley Family YMCA will break ground on the South Meridian YMCA Aquatic Center, a full-sized community recreation facility and competitive swimming venue at the South Meridian YMCA.

A groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled to take place on Thursday, August 15, at 10am at the construction site, behind the South Meridian YMCA. The public is invited and welcome to celebrate the beginning of construction with YMCA members, donors, and staff.

Through the generosity of Treasure Valley individuals, families, companies, and foundations the Treasure Valley Family YMCA has raised approximately $13 million of the $15 million needed. The final phase of the capital campaign has begun with a goal of $150,000.

Annual Campaign
