The YMCA Healthy Living Center (HLC) is a partnership between the Treasure Valley Family YMCA, area health organizations, and our community. Together, we provide evidence-based programs that profoundly address many health concerns. The HLC and its programs bring together medical and fitness professionals to help individuals achieve the best possible health care and overall quality of life. We focus on prevention and lifestyle changes as an essential part of health care and healthy living.

NOTICE OF PRIVACY PRACTICES

The Y-HLC programs specifically only serve participants with chronic disease. These are the current CDC recommendations:

  • Scientific evidence shows that at this stage of the emergency, it is essential to slow virus transmission as much as possible to protect those, the most vulnerable.
  • Opening of activities in stages reduces the risk of the spread of COVID-19 to Idaho citizens, including Idaho’s most vulnerable population.
  • Vulnerable individuals should minimize exposure to social settings
  • Vulnerable individuals that do not feel comfortable resuming public interactions are strongly encouraged to stay at home.

Your safety is of the utmost importance to us. Our team will continue to review and assess real-time data for the state of Idaho and Canyon and Ada Counties to determine when additional in-person classes and programming can be safely delivered at branch facilities.
